Most of the guys are shooting mid to high 60s.
Handicaps are usually plus numbers for the boys.
Girls not as good but the girls I know getting any real money for d1 are around scratch or better.
Girls golf scholarships are easier to get but I promise you what you spend on their youth tournaments, clubs and travel is more than most girls get in scholarships now unless you are the top 1-3 players. And you are never guaranteed the money from year to year in many D1 programs.
The math, much like softball and baseball, says what you spend on their youth programs is unlikely to be recouped in college though it can help them get in.
Have a friend whose kid plays baseball at West Point. Baseball got him in. That’s about the only kid I know who gets his youth baseball costs fully back in scholarship.
